Today is a Friday, and I have to go to work in an hour and a half. It's 97 degrees, but it feels like 109. Outside the skies are dark, and thunder is rumbling in the distance. And despite there being every sign of an imminent thunder storm, I can almost guarantee that it will not rain at all.

Hi. I'm Brian Henken: Semi-famous internet micro-celebrity known for his video essays on topics like Donkey Kong 64, the role of violence in media, my love and fear of water levels, out of bounds glitches in video games, and Tony Hawk's prostate.

I made this website because I thought it would be fun, and of course every creative needs a website! Right? I had a blast making this site. Even though it's super simple, it's a place where my work can live outside of the behest of the big tech companies. I can do whatever I want with this space, because it's mine. It can look how I want it to, it can function how I want it to, and it can house all of my creative work so that it can live forever (hopefully).

I'll update this on occasion as I produce more work and live more of my life. The upkeep and updating of this website is on no set schedule, but if I post something here then you'll probably hear about it from me on Bluesky or Youtube. So yeah.
